Clyde Riverfront Re-generation

Project Summary

Background

CCG, one of Scotland’s largest privately owned construction and manufacturing companies, working on behalf of Glasgow Housing Association to provide additional, affordable housing stock within the Clyde Riverfront regeneration area, specifically Ellerslie Path, Yoker, Glasgow. Quartzelec was employed by CCG as the project’s ICP for the 46 new flats under construction.

The Project

Prior to commencement of the project, Quartzelec carried out extensive condition surveys to the existing LV network, reporting back our findings to the local IDNO. This was necessary in order to establish the viability for use of existing underground cables. Our scope included:

• Design new LV network
• Installation of Lateral mains to supply 46 Flats
• Coordinate jointing works
• Testing of new installation
• Maintaining site temporary supply
• MPAN supply
