Quartzelec provide HV and LV installation and maintenance services to clients throughout the UK and we are now looking for an Trainee Electrical Estimator to engage with our client base and provide competitive cost solutions for the installation on a variety of HV/LV electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities & Accountability

• Engaging with our existing client contacts, seeking out new customers and opportunities.
• Estimating HV/LV installations in the corporate, renewables and general industrial/commercial contracting environment.

Qualifications, Experience & Personal Attributes

The successful applicant will possess: 

• An understanding and knowledge of installation of LV Electrical, testing/ inspection and remedials as well as Building Services installations. Any HV experience not essential at present
• Candidates will be considered on merit. No minimal timescales have been set on previous experience
• An ability to provide re-engineering suggestions within a designated scope of works to provide potential submission advantages
• A solid, verifiable technical background within the Electrical Contracting sector
• Ability to work to time scales (time management)
• The ability to build relationships with clients quickly
• A natural and efficient sales manner, Analytical and problem-solving skills, Resilience, tenacity and Independent
