As a High Voltage Test Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing all testing activities in the test department and providing support for daily testing operations within the Workshop.

Key Responsibilities & Accountability

We are looking for a Lead Test Engineer to be part of the test Department.

• Performs both static and dynamic electrical tests on a wide range of rotating plant from LV to HV
• Communicates well and leads by example, a “Safety first” culture
• Oversees and is responsible for electrical test records and reports
• Understands the importance of Quality “right first time” and “on time delivery” ethos
• Ensures company brand materials and physical working spaces are maintained to high standards
• Delivers exceptional customer service, answering enquiries, and assisting with customer complaints
• Responsible for equipment, tooling and plant in your area, with a focus on continuous improvement & maintenance

Qualifications, Experience & Personal Attributes

The successful applicant will possess:

• A Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Electrical Engineering is preferred
• Relevant experience with large rotating plant systems
• Knowledge of motor and generator testing methods, including static and dynamic loading
• Strong fault-finding skills
